From growler. Pours dark brown black with a medium creamy light tan head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sweet roasted malt with piney hops.
The flavor is sweet malts with lots of bitter piney roast and some fruit with a bitter slightly chalky finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a solid black IPA.
