this is a cool beer, i think i remember hearing at some point that its fermented with lacto from yogurt, but i might be misremembering that. its a pale sour with peaches and its a good one, simple and sort of different, quite sour, and with a lot of character in the sour profile. to me is smells a little cheesy and weird, like not as clean as it could be but also attractive because its unique. some funk but it isnt bretty, some fruity tang that isnt just the lacto, it takes a minute to get used to, but when i settle into it a little bit i like it more. the peach element is cool, it has a peach ring or sour gummy complexion at first, but a more natural juicy sweetness at the end, the best of both worlds. it tastes sort of wild to me, not purely bacterial, but it also is a little backyard buckety, amateurish in some sense, not a negative necessarily, but one of these is enough for me. it tastes a little cheap as well, i dont know how to better explain that, its lacking the depth and refinement i like in this sort of thing, but i do appreciate it for being a little different. black bottle continues to have my attention though, they are doing some really cool stuff!
