A bourbon barrel aged wild rye stout.
Pours dark brown with a nice mocha head. Aroma offered the bourbon barrels, sourness from the wild yeast, and a little spicey rye. Very little stout qualities in the aroma, perhaps a touch of some roastiness. Flavor started off sour, with the yeast at the forefront. The bourbon barrel follows and things close out with the spicey rye. Again very little of the stout like qualities in this, perhaps just a touch of some roastiness in there if I looked for it. A medium body, slight activity. Overall, an interesting beer but feel it needed the stout to show itself to tie everything together.
