From growler. Pours slightly hazy straw gold with a small creamy white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is sweet grainy malts with noble hops and some perfumey bubblegum Belgian notes.

The flavor is sweet cracker malts with perfumey, floral, slightly bubblegum Belgian notes and some peppery hops. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, an OK tripel, not really digging the bubblegum.

Served on-draught into a pilsner glass at Choice City in Fort Collins. Reviewed from notes taken in December 2012.

A: Pours a half finger beige colour head of fair cream, nice thickness, and nice retention. Body colour is a hazy pale copper. No yeast particles are visible. No bubble show.

Sm: Orange citrus fruit esters, pale clean malts, lactic notes, and slight funk. A mild strength aroma.

T: Citrus fruit esters, pale malts, a clean malt body, biscuity yeast hints, and a hints of funk. Well balanced. Well built, but not really suitable for a tripel. A bit simple.

Mf: Smooth and wet. A bit overcarbonated. Good thickness. Suits the flavour profile pretty well.

Dr: Drinkable but underwhelming. I wouldn't have it again. A pretty good tripel, but not up to par with Belgian examples.
