Clear amber brew with long-lasting foam in the Maredsous goblet. Very pleasantly fizzy with a light body. On the sharp side. Lime peel aroma. Plenty hoppy. I wondered if it was flavored with citrus but apparently it's just the magic of hops.
Some sweet malt but an acidic finish. Distinctly citrus tasting. Moderate bitter aftertaste. Bright flavors with the distinct tingle of bitter hops on the tongue. From the 12 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station in Bellingham.

Slightly cloudy dark golden. Off white, fairly persistent head that leaves some patchy lacing. Aroma is citrus, maybe leaning toward orange peel. Taste is bitter citrus with a hint of sweet malt.

Colorful 22oz bottle served in pint glass. Pale golden in color, not quite crystal clear, small white head. Aroma is fruity and citrusy, like you'd expect, like a less intense Fresh Squeezed. Flavor is also citrus all the way through, with oldschool American IPA profile, a bunch of IBUs, and 6.9% ABV to boot. I definitely taste more Chinook in this than Citra. I love Citra but I'd say it's wasted in this.

I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: medium orange with a light haze and a minimal head of ivory foam.
Smell: strong citrusy hops with just a little dankness. Looking forward to this one.
Taste: citrusy and tropical hops up front that fade into a dusty, wet-hop kind of muddled flavor. Not too bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and decent creaminess.
Overall: a decent citrus IPA. The flavor doesn't quite live up to the aroma, but it's still rather tasty.
