Beer Summit sample pour. From a bottle. Pours very dark. Aroma is a bit odd. Has a sort of acridness to it. Sweet chocolate and some stronger roasty aromas and flavors. Body is fuller for a beer that I would barely call and imperial stout. Not in love with the taste, There is an odd maltiness in there.

It tastes similar to other imperial stouts I've had (malty chocolate notes, coffee notes kind of creamy), the main thing I want to chime in with is that head explodes the moment the beer hits the glass, even on a gentle pour. I had to wait 15 mins to drink the beer because I had to wait for it to dissipate.

For best results enjoy Bearded... done. Been waiting to do this for a while, but should have held up... I think.
Pours a crazy ridiculous 5+ finger head that keeps rising and rising to a pillowy fluffy way over the top of the glass, very little beer on the bottom, dark bubbly head fades slowly, takes forever to try this damn beer. Obviously it was way under attenuated or left with lots of sugar in the bottle and way over carbonated, reminds me a lot of my early homebrews, very dark black beer.
Ug, finally, nose is OK, lots of chocolate malts and black malts, fudgey cocoa, fresh brewed mash ton with dark malts, carafa perhaps with fluffy nougat, dark caramel malts, some light roast and coffee, a little nutty as well, lots of caramel, dark caramel, mild earthy spicy hops. Then mild yeasty aroma.
Taste brings sweet malts, quite creamy with lactose sugar I think, maybe oats but seems more like lactose. Lots of dark malts, black malt, chocolate malt, some dark crystal malts, a little fluffy nougat note again, some mild super dark chocolate cocoa, burnt chocolate, mild coffee milk, burnt coffee sludge and a little char, lots of dark crystal malts, and dark caramel flavors. Some earthy spicy hops with some spicy bitterness. Finish is a little sweet, creamy, mild booze warmth late, sticky fudgey burnt chocolate, char, and very very dark black malt cocoa and roast.
Mouth is med to fuller bod, creamy lactose like, weird carbonation mix as it seemed overcarbonated but it was mostly lost in the pour.
Overall meh, seems like they have some work to do to get it to true commercial standards. It has eom good qualities, nice creaminess, decent dark malts but way too many different kids of dark malts and just over powering in general, way too much carbonation going on in the bottle, under attenuated, some char and over roasty flavors, etc.

Took 20+ min to pour into a glass. Foamed up as soon as it hit the glass. Too much work. Full of flavor, but the beer feels thin, no body.

Starts with a large head, but it settles very quickly, leaving only a few spots of lace on the glass. The liquid is dark brown, but bright light does shine through the center of the glass.
Cocoa and nearly burnt white bread are the predominant smells. Light alcohol in the background.
The flavor is far more burnt than the smell lets on. The alcohol is also "warmer" than I expected, appearing in swallow particularly. The body is as one would expect, but the carbonation is a bit elevated. The aftertaste is short with the burnt patent malt being the most lingering element.
