Is there such a thing as a “Manly Fruit Beer”? We brought the challenge to our brewmaster, who created a Belgian Pale Ale that incorporates both rye and raspberry flavors. The spicy notes of the rye compliment the sweetness raspberry, creating a beer that appeals to craft beer afficiandos and novices alike.

Look - A cloudy muddy amber with a very thick tan head that stood 3-4 inches and took some time to dissipate.
Smell - Rye, Yeast and Raspberry all come through in the scent..
Taste - The Rye and Raspberry flavors combine in an interesting way, the yeast doesn't come through in the flavor as much. The beer says natural flavor added and the Raspberry flavor is pronounced and the rye adds an interesting heartiness to the flavor.
Feel - Light and bubbly, nothing to complain about.
Overall - This is one of the more unique tasting beers I've had. I feel like this would be a dessert beer and could be enjoyed with some nice chocolate. Not bad.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
