Appearance - A nice 1.5 inch head which dissipated quickly. The color was a unique orange-amber color and it looks cloudy.
Scent - Hops, brewers yeast, and floral and citrus scent notes.
Taste - The hops flavor is quite strong. In almost equal measure is a strong yeast flavor that reminds me of a slightly less pungent version of brewers yeast tablets. The floral notes are not as noticeable but there is an almost apple note and faint citrus notes coming through the tale end of the beer. Not too sweet. A pretty complex IPA flavor profile.
Mouthfeel - Medium body, lots of carbonation and a bit of a zing from the 7.9% ABV. Not bad, leaves the mouth feeling a little dry afterwards, possibly from the yeast.
Overall - This is the most unique IPA i've had so far. It almost has a belgian ale vibe hiding behind the IPA exterior. It's not bad tasting and seeing as it's discontinued, I'm very glad I got to try it through a sampler pack I picked up.

Amazing head. Nice unfiltered cloudiness. Balanced and drinkable, but not really an IPA. Maybe an APA at best. Reminds me of a Sierra Nevada pale ale.
