Poured from the can into a Spiegelau IPA glass.

Chunky topped soapy white tall head, reaching three fingers with spotted lacing. Body is slightly hazed but with a pale light yellow, and orange like quality. Nicely presented.

Bold zesting grapefruit with pith, sprinkled sugar, juicy red citrus with a soft pleasurable malt base. Sweet sensing touches of pastry dough as well making for a real nice aroma.

Chewy sensing palate. Dough and lovely bakery sweetness on the malt character, with this excellent grapefruit fruit flavor. Mixing rind, pith, juiced fruit and ruby touching sweetness and bitterness in a nice balance. Hop like bitterness in the mid palate with touches of more citrus and even some mint, particularly in the finish.

Excellent wheated and citrus flavored brew, with an excellent hop kick.

From a 16 oz. can sampled on Oct 30, 2022.

Slight cloudy or hazy looking golden pour under a modest, lasting cream colored head.

The aroma is grainy with muted fruity characters. Inviting enough but nothing that makes it unique.

Delicate and smooth medium mouthfeel.

Sweet bready taste with a lower profile fruity note. Decently balanced. Not too overwhelming.

Moderate pour yields a nearly one inch white head over a bright, floatie laden body with some sticky lacing. Very nice nose of tropical fruit, sweet citrus, and slight pine. Taste mirrors nose nicely with a nice feel. The ruby red grapefruit floaties present are in no way detrimental to the overall experience that, let's say, murky lactose does to other so-called IPAs. Overall, this might be my favorite tasting IPA from the Bros. Cheers!

16 oz can traded from brutalfarce. Poured into Rasputin nonic pint. No can date.

Hazy pale straw yellow with a tall fuzzy white head of 2 fingers.

Aroma of grapefruit and lemon, caramel, slight harsh grainy wheat, and faint fading of hops.

Flavor is fading already, with slight nasty caramel with some ruby red grapefruit. Resinous.

Feel is really crisp and clean with a resinous finish.

Overall a decent beer, nothing I'd probably return to. Not sure how old it is.

Beautiful pour into a tulip with a great head on it. Smell is prevalent but not overwhelming. You can taste the grapefruit but only in passing which is how I like it. Great beer from the biggest hidden gem brewery out there!

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a nice soft pale burnt yellow chalky color with a two finger white frothy head that fell off at a fairly quick pace. Some messy lace. The aroma had some ruby red grapefruit pulpy sweetness and it’s rind in a bitter fashion rolling over some light acceptable sugary notes over a sly little wheaty bite at the end. The flavor wants to lean towards the sweet side but an ample amount of bitterness from the grapefruit rind pushes the brink to end up blending better than I think. Nice controlled aftertaste with a brisk bittersweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt good and the ABV felt perfectly fine. Some harshness, but the wheat seemed to control that a little bit. Overall, nicely done wheat IPA with that grapefruit in this one really made it all come together extremely nice.
