On tap at Blackback Pub in Waterbury, VT.
This one pours a dark burnt orange color, mostly clear, with a small head and a good bit of lacing.
This smells like pineapple, pine zest, orange, and lemon.
This is another resinous delight from Foley. It's got a very good fruity hop character to it as well, lots of pineapple and some candied lemon, some grapefruit and melon, with not much in the way of malt character.
This finishes very crisp and very clean- it was clearly well fermented. It's got a good level of carbonation, and a high level of drinkability.
This is really quite nice and it's highly recommended.

Growlette from Winooski Beverage.
Three pours - one into a becher pint glass, one into a flared pilsner glass, and one into a tulip.
The appearance was best held in the becher pint as it kept the head longer and tighter with a good steady one and a half finger's worth of head. There wasn't any head in the tulip. The head seemed to be just a film in the flared pilsener (which I don't think I'll ever do again for an AIPA [chalking that up to being a mistake]). Lace seemed adequate and nice in the becher pint glass. The rest of this review is based out of the becher pint glass which I have always stuck with in my AIPA's anyways.
The aroma had a nice strong healthy fresh wintergreen minty to fresh scented pine needles, somewhat sprucy. Subsequent orange sweetness came in right before some earthiness followed at the end with a nice subtle fresh sort of sweet woodiness.
The flavor was moderately sweet through a blend of the mint/wintergreen to orange and pine needle. Nice fresh minty to pine needle sort of aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was almost medium bodied, seemed to sit just a touch under with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate. Super nice fresh minty/semi-piney soothing, dry yet a touch of stickiness in the finish.
Overall, this is a very nice AIPA, well worthy of having again.

I have yet to taste a Foley Bros beer that I don't like. Origin has an aroma even before you taste it that you know it will be terrific. Love this beer!
