On tap in Killington Pours a medium dark brown. Big nose of roasted malt and whiskey. Taste is seductively good from the instant it touches your lips. Dark caramel, malt, robust but not heavy, followed by prominent rye barrel fumes without being boozy. It's light for barrel aged ABV at 6.4%, but still big on taste. Extremely good, and not an also ran, this one is a unique take. Get it while you can.

On tap at the Blackback Pub. Deep brown body. Smells of maple without the sweetness, vanilla, oak, and light whiskey. Tastes of whiskey up front. Pretty strong, but some chocolate and toasty brown malts come through. Whiskey again in the back end. Medium body. I was afraid it would be sweet, which it isn't. It's not something is go for again, though.
