This is a wonderful hazy ale; I would not call it a pale ale, since in the mid-Atlantic states where I live, that is something different altogether. This is not pale, it is hazy, but it's a nice lower alcohol-level than most in New England. 5.9%. Bought it in Brandon on our way through, going home after a wonderful visit in Burlington where we visited about eight breweries. Wish we had had time to visit the brewery and buy more to take home! Very nice!

This is such a delicious pale ale, crisp, tasty, and with a great balance.
Cloudy pale golden colour with a frothy thick head, very hazy.
S - grapefruit, fresh biscuit, orange, very juicy and hop forward.
T - juicy and plump, pear, grapefruit, apricot maybe, finishing with a robust bitter tangy-ness. Crisp lingering finish. Very delicious with some interesting hop character, leafy botanicals, some herbal notes.
M - robust, creamy body, restrained carbonation and a full finish.
Overall, one the high end of being sessionable, this verges on IPA territory but carries a wonderful balance and great flavour that I could enjoy over a longer period.

Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a glossy bright pale burnt orange to yellow color. The head was about a finger's worth of white foaminess. Dissipation was mild/somewhat slow and left a little bit of sly concave lace.
The aroma had some bitter to sweet resin up front playing with some sweet dried woodiness and grassiness. Malts seem barely there.
The flavor was mildly bitter presenting a sly pulled bitter resin sticky taste. The wood is there and a light cracker malt. Keen aftertaste of resin bitterness with a little bit of sweetness.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a sly sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt good. Mild resin bitter finish.
Overall, pretty nice APA well worthy of coming back to.
