Taster at brewery. Cloudy orange golden, thin silky head, lacing. Aroma is bready, citrus, tangerine. Taste is malty with citrus accents, bready, toffee. Really nice

L: Hazy yellow with a decent head that dissipates leaving good lacing.
S: Citrusy and piney hops, decent breadiness from malt.
T: Moderate bitterness, citrus hops, and a very round basemalt character.
F: Crisp and medium bodied.
Overall: A very nice IPA, although not the best showcase of Citra I have had.

16 oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a hazy yellow gold color with 2 fingers of frothy white head. Excellent retention here, leaving a crown of sticky cobwebs as it settles into a thin layer of foam.
The aroma brings notes of grapefruit flesh, orange rind, and lemon zest. Nicely bready with plenty of peppery spice.
The flavor has quite a bit of peppery spice and lemon-lime juice up front, followed by a wave of grapefruit and orange, backed up by a solid cracker malt. Finishes with some sweet melon and bubblegum. Very acidic and herbaceous.
The feel is medium bodied with pretty good carbonation. A little slick, but drinkable with a dry finish.
Overall, this is a good single hop IPA. It isn't complex or exploding with flavor, but it definitely sticks to the core of the Citra hop and gives you exactly what you should be expecting.

This is kinda bland and disappointing from this fantastic brewery. The look reminds me of Tang with irregular lacing. Nice enough bouquet with citrus (citra duh) notes of grapefruit, orange and resin. The palate is a bit boring and a lot biting with some bready malt back. Finishes bitter.
