Pours a very deep brown with a big 3" root beer float head; very good retention and lacing. Nose is roast, metallic, dry dark fruit, barley, very little sweetness. Taste is also roast forward, but there's a significant amount of grassy hop in here, imparting a good deal of earthy and herbal bitterness. Finish is quite bitter. No nitro here, feel is moderate with prickly carbonation. Solid, and definitely appreciate its bitterness.

Poured from a 16 oz can with no birth or death date. Pours deep black with decent two finger head foam. Dry and satisfying with a slight milky sweetness. Very good.

L- The beer pours a deep glossy brown which appears lighter around the edges. The head is a solid two fingers of mocha froth. The head recedes to a thick mousse like film.
S-The nose is a nice mix of chocolate and roast. Slight edge to the chocolate.
T- The taste, unlike the nose, leans slightly roasty. Less sweet than a Guinness draught with more of a earthy hop presence.
F-Mouthfeel overall is medium. Carbonation is light. The earthy hops lend a drying quality which increase drinkability.
O- A well executed dry irish stout. Exactly what you would expect for the style. Recommended for Irish stout fans.

This is definitely a bit hoppier than most Irish stouts than I have had. That doesn't mean it isn't damn fine, it is. The hops and the roasts work nice together, and make for a refreshing beer.

Can to glass mug.
The appearance was a nice looking black color topped by a small off white semi-foamy head subsiding fairly quick. Some light messy lace ran around the glass nicely.
The aroma had some sweet dried woody character up front flowing over some dark chocolate nibs, roasty coffee beans, dark toast and a touch of dark fruits.
The flavor moderately yielded towards the dry sweet dark and some milk chocolate. Roasty to bitter character of coffee beans strolls through and then leads into the aftertaste of the same adding a touch of earthiness.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation with a sturdy low ABV. Nice finish of appropriate dry and roasty character with some bitterness and a sly touch of stickiness.
Overall, definitely works as an Irish Dry Stout. I'd definitely have again.

Can. Black with lasting dense small head and some lace. Lightly roasted cocoa dusted chocolate chip cookies. Medium chocolate fig sweetness without being too fruity. Dry woody earthy bitter finish. light body creamy. FUCKIN NAILED IT!

16 oz can. Moderish pour gave me a 2 inch head. Dark brown/black color, nice roast scent, drinks easy like a Irish stout should. Mouth feel is medium but full of roast and hop flavor.
Banged down 2 so fast I was looking for more. Excellent beer for 1 or many.

16 oz. can.
Moderate pour yields a one inch light tan head over a dark brown body with some lacing. Nose of dark malt and earthy hops. Taste of dark malt, slight chocolate, slight malted milk with a dry hoppy finish. Nice feel and overall, I think they hit the mark with their take on a dry Irish stout. Cheers to the Bro's!
