Poured into a small pint glass. Pours medium coppery amber with golden notes, with a two finger white head that dissipates to patches with a light lacing. Aroma of lightly caramel malt, lightly citrus hops with some earthy root spices, orange citrus. Flavor is mild caramel malt, citrus and piney hops, orange and tangerine, a mild odd earthy, vegetal note. Finishes with robust citrus and piney hops. Medium bodied with light creaminess and sharp carbonation. A traditional and a little old fashioned West Coast IPA with a typical hop profile. There is a faint cooked vegetable note that is a little clashing, but a robust citrus and piney finish with great lingering piney and citrus bitterness. An uneven, but satisfactory West Coast IPA.
