Im used to BA stouts with an ABV over 10 so when I came across this one at 7.5% I was curious. You gte pretty much what you'd expect here, in a good way. There's undeniably the richness and warmth of the barrel but its not super boozy. Its mellow, a little sweet and you can drink, rather than sip, it. Not bad at all.
