12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, straw-yellow color with a small, pillowy white head of foam. It smelled of citrus, floral notes and caramel. Sweet caramel taste with hints of butterscotch. Sweet citrus and a subtle bitterness.

Look is pale golden crystal clear
Aroma mild bread slightly dank hop, lemon.
Taste is light bread with balanced hops, fruity more complex with orange and lime notes.
Mouthfeel is light and dry with moderate carbonation and clean finish
Overall very good, light and refreshing like a Pilsner with the extra bonus of the Citra complexity. A definite go-to for Summer in Iowa!

my first beer from these guys, a citra hopped pilsener, new school and sort of americanized, but its in a flattering way, and i think still honors the pils types of the old world well enough while taking some liberties with the hops. citra sometimes to me is one dimensional in ipa styles, and when relied on too heavily, can be sort of underwhelming without some real brewing expertise, but in a pale lager like this, i think its a brilliant hop, and we get to appreciate a somewhat different side of it here in this highly crushable bottle of beer. the hops are as prominent in flavor as they are in nose, proportionally not way ahead of a good czech style, but instead of the grassy, limey, bitter saaz complexion we are used to in the style, we get the soft lemony freshness of citra, which makes this taste way fresher and sort of alive than a lot of the imports ever do by the time they make it to our lips. there is mild bitterness here, even less than some of the classics, but the flavor of the citra is awesome over the dry crackery european pils malts and the crisp lager yeast. its not quite as dry and brisk as it could be, but its packed with flavor and really hits the spot after a long work day. just the right amount of innovation in a classic style, tasteful, i enjoyed this one a lot!

Great take on classic Pils. The citra hops shine here like they are meant to. Beer is golden and slightly cloudy unlike a traditional pilsner. Citra hops hang on the nose into the first drink where they pair well with the bready malt. Carbonation is on the lower sudside for a Pils.

Look - clear like yellow color as expected
Smell - slight citra but not much scent
Taste - citra and grainy but not bitter
Feel - medium light body but lacking much carbonation
Overall - if it had better carbonation I think I’d like it more

A mild flavor, with just a little bit of a wheat aftertaste. There's a little bit of a floral aftertaste, but not much. A decent and drinkable pilsner.

Eminently drinkable due to light body, citra-ness provides enough flavor to differentiate from Miller Lite and make you want another sip.
