Similar to Avery's Vanilla Bean Stout but better balanced.

This is a real hidden treasure. Great barrel flavor and he vanilla and coconut addition shine through very nicely. Super smooth and oily. Nice dark khaki head on it with a pitch black look. Definitely a unknown beast. Great things coming from Iowa lately.

Good notes of bourbon on charred oak barrel along with vanilla and nicely subtle cinnamon. Nice, thick body. I look forward to hopefully seeing more like this.

I was really impressed and never would have expected anything like this from Backpocket. Big vanilla and a good depth with the bourbon aging and coconut.
I don't know if cinnamon was used in the brewing process, but the "notes of cinnamon" as described on the label is accurate.
Had this alongside 2017 KBS and this definitely upstaged that classic.
I rarely buy bottles of beer anymore, I mostly just drink in social settings. But this one was so good I had to grab some. It even brought me out of retirement from BA rating!

This one is pretty amazing. Nice and viscous with plenty of barrel. Vanilla and coconut really shine as well. Holds up to some of the big boys for sure.
