We took our Tiki Sour & aged it for 6 months in South American Rum barrels for a spicy rum character that reminds us of our favorite tiki bar. Notes of spice & oak dominate yet complement the fruit combo in this full bodied sour ale. Contains lactose. Made with nuts.

I'm not sure if it was the weather or what, but this one hit all the right notes - and in a perfectly balanced and harmonious chord, no less! Poured from a 12-ounce bottle into a Zwanze Day 2018 stemmed goblet. Appearance is a translucent pale orange-yellow, with a finger of white head that dissipated in short order as expected. This has aroma and flavor profiles that bring to mind a tropical fruit-juice cocktail. Pineapple and citrus predominate, with notes of rum, vanilla, and spice. The mouthfeel is silky and smooth, no doubt due to the lactose used in the brewing process. Pleasantly tart, not overly so. The finish is quite dry. I think the brewer hit a home run with this. It is delicious, well balanced, and well crafted.
