Lagered to perfection with a golden straw-hue, this traditional lager is balanced and sessionable. Noble hop bitterness melds with the gentle bread and biscuit of German malts. Brewed in honor of our fans, friends and family in Clone country.

Clonefest flavorfull. Kind of heavy for an Octoberfest Im thinking. Malty, rich, but I look for something more "refined". It reminded me slightly of a red ale. Had New Glarus Staghorn on hand for direct comparison and the difference was clear. The flavor was distinctive, but had a crisp, cleaner taste just approaching a medium body with richness. Perfect. Will enjoy the Clonefest, but many choices out there.

Poured from 12-ounce can into a souvenir Oktoberfest mug. Beautiful golden straw color, with a thick long-lasting gleaming white head. Malt forward, with bready and grassy notes on the nose and palate. Very easy drinking. Mouthfeel is in the medium range, with excellent carbonation and pleasant bitterness. Crisp finish, with a bit of lingering tartness. Outstanding beer, highly recommended.

Aroma is mild dark fruit and big/grainy bread. The flavor is fruit/slight dark fruit, nutty malts, caramel and a mild/medium sweet/oily/earthy finish.
