A smooth dark lager brewed with corn. This beer pairs well with any dish and has a hint of salt and lime to balance.

On tap at SingleSpeed, Waterloo, IA; served in an 8-ounce tasting glass. Reddish amber in color, with a thin off-white head and orange highlights. Malt forward, with notes of dark bread and dark fruit. Well balanced, medium bodied, with understated sweetness and light bitterness on the palate. The lime and sea salt, if there, are barely detectable. Excellent German-style dunkel. So what makes this a "Mexican Dark Lager?" Who the hell knows?
