This unique wheat beer uses smoked malt as an extra variety to the traditional malts used to brew a Dunkelweizen. Dunkelweizens are hybrid beers that reflect the malty richness of a Munich Dunkel with the fruity yeast character and wheat profile of a Bavarian Weizen. We used a barley malt that has been smoked over a cherry wood fire to add further intricacy to the malty character. This wheat beer is malt forward and bready with a smoky and slight fruity background.
