2016 bottle.I remember those days in the freezin ass ice shanty's,don't miss em much. This pours into a goblet jet black with no light getting thru,a thinner deep beige head atop.Aromas of coffee, semi sweet chocolate, and dark prune/raisin,just an inviting RIS aroma with the inviting sweetness.Holy smokes a beer this big that isn't a sweet bomb, starts out with some bitter chocolate and dark roast, caramel and praline notes come thru as I drink more with more earthy tones in the back end.Wow I was intrigued by this beer but it's even better than anticipated, for me the best of 2018 so far.
