Our West Coast style pale ale showcases the tropical juiciness of the Citra hop. Aromas of mango and passionfruit lead into flavours of sweet citrus, with a subtle malt finish. A tribute to one of our favourite hops, this amber coloured beer is as flavourful as it is sessionable.

Hazy light copper with a good head and even cap. LightCitra hop nose, inviting. Light-medium malt body, very even with a nice hop bite on finish.

On tap at the Biercraft in Vancouver.
Pours with a hazy amber-orange body and a semi-durable white head.
The aroma is not very promising but the flavor is very good, with citrus highlights then a growing hop bitterness.

Pretty sure I am having an off can, but I find this grainy and malty. Any of the Citra elements of the beer are lost behind this, and it makes for a real disappointment. On the positive side, it looks good.

Poured from a 473ml can. Canned on May 10/2018
A: Pours a off clear golden with a thick white head/minor lacing.
S: Very mild Citrus fruit nose with a hint of hops.
T: Bibo says it all below.
Overall this single is missing flavor Citra is one of my favorite hops but this one needs a blend.

650ml bottle - Citra hops are indeed something that I would typically be fine with giving an ode to, that's for sure!
This beer pours a clear, bright medium copper amber colour, with two fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and bubbly beige head, which leaves some spooky tree branch lace around the glass as it lazily sinks out of sight.
It smells of semi-sweet orange and red grapefruit citrus flesh, some muddled tropical melon fruitiness, grainy and doughy caramel malt, a hint of wayward son yeastiness, and further leafy, grassy, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is bready and doughy caramel malt, some ethereal biscuity toffee notes, kind of wan and limp seeming generic citrus rind, a still extant yeasty character, some ascending honeydew and cantaloupe fruitiness, and more tame earthy, grassy, and floral hoppiness.
The bubbles are fairly laid-back in their barely-there frothiness, the body a so-so middleweight, and mostly smooth, the hops not of the interfering sort, which is always a thing to behold. It finishes off-dry, with the malt and mixed fruitiness lingering on into the burgeoning nightlife.
Overall, this is an approachable enough single-hopped brew, with maybe a few dents in the side panel that wouldn't have happened were there a stronger (or any) supporting cast. Citra is a nice hop, as noted, but here, it looks like it could use a little help.

A decent beer, lots of hop goodness. I could use a bit more complexity, though. Still, if you're wanting something clean and refreshing but still flavourful, this'll hit the spot.

Dark amber brew with plenty of foam in the narrow Bitburger glass. Pleasant citrus peel aroma. Rich honeydew melon flavor with an orange tang. A little sharp but mellow and just malty enough. A little sweetness.
Light body and plenty of fizz. The finish is surprisingly not very bitter, just a little orange peel taste. My favorite beer so far from north of the border. From the 650 ml bottle purchased at Crosstown Liquor Store in Vancouver.
