"This beer is an experiment in contrast and deception. We set out to create a dark ale that pours like a stout, has the aroma of an American IPA, and a taste that's juicy and sour."
A: Black, tan head that dissipates fairly quickly.
S: Sour, tamarind. (And no, it doesn't smell like an IPA.)
T: Bold sourness. It's nice, but doesn't have the depth of flavour I expected. Dark in appearance only. Very mild bitterness.
F: Sticky.
