Copenhagen 8/4 2018. 47,3 cl can from Viti Liquor Store in Central Vancouver. Very light green and pink can.
Pours hazy pale yellow with small white, bubbly head. Settles as lonely patches of floating foam. No lacing.
Aroma is sour and fairly intense. Sour, unripe berries. Tart and dry. Light hints of decay. Moderate funk. Subdued undercurrent of sweet berries.
Strong carbonation. Thin but lively texture.
Flavor is sour. Light sweetness followed by dominating sourness. Aftertaste is tart. Finish is dry.
Pretty one-dimensional. But solid and dry Sour Ale. You only needs one dimension when it's sour.
