on draft at beer study in chapel hill. snifter
pours a dark red with not much of a head. smells very malty, typical for style but with no outstanding characteristics. the taste is like a malt forward IPA more than a red, because there are a good amount of hops present here as well. medium body, mild carbonation.
overall its solid, but nothing out of the ordinary.
