Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a stemmed snifter, the beer is a hazy, golden coloring, with a tall, fluffy, off-white head. Nose of honey, earth, and tangy caramel. Flavors are booze forward, with a rich honey forward note, also. Roasted and subtle grainy characteristics in the backbone. Tangy sweet, with a huge booze component. Slick and heavy in mouth, with a rich honey sweetness and boozy aftertaste. There is a building warmth as you go. Slick, slightly oily finish. This beer is heavy.
