Poured on nitro-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a brown-to-black, with a dense, creamy, tan colored head. Nose of coffee, toffee, bittersweet chocolate, and earthy tones. Flavors are chocolate and earthy tones forward, a bit rustic and rough, with a mocha backbone, and subtle crème highlights. Smooth and creamy in mouth, with a chocolate heavy aftertaste. Smooth, rich, creamy finish. This beer is delectable.
