A: pours a hazy honey color with a finger of white head that fades into a frothy ring with little lacing.

S: oak, candy sugar, Belgian spices, honey, and bourbon dominate the nose.

T: Belgian spices and yeast flavors up front with a good amount of oak. Candy sugar, vanilla, abd bourbon follow before a lightly boozy finish.

M: medium body with lowish carbonation, this beer is a little thick and boozy for the style, though understandable considering the barrel treatment.

O: a solid beer, overall. A bit on the thick and boozy side for a style that is normally drinkable and lighter, but still enjoyable.
