Eucalyptus taste from the gin that just makes this an unpleasant drinking experience.

An interesting beer for sure, but not enough that I would order it again. For one thing, I'm not a huge gin fan, and second there was a weird kind of toothpaste minty flavor and smell I couldn't quite get passed. If you're looking for something different, go for it, but I'm moving on to the next beer.

Smells like a thin mint cookie dipped in gin. Tasted like unicorn farts with a gin infused vanilla bourbon cocktail taste with subtle hop after taste.

Appearance: Arrives with a modest head capping the hazy golden amber liquid; lots of dots and squiggles hang around once the head fades to a ringlet
Smell: Melon and berries with undertones of lemon, juniper and sugar
Taste: Shortcake and melon, with sweetened berries, up front; juniper berry and Prosecco arrive in the middle, along with a vinous character from the Chardonnay must; the finish is herbal and more like a cocktail than a beer
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; some warmth
Overall: The most unusual beer I have ever tasted; pushes the edge of brewing into cocktail territory; as extreme as can be

Appearance: Presents a hazed, pale dusky orange-hued body layered with a slim, off-white head.
Smell: Heavily aromatic, less so the malts and such and instead the fragrant additions, from the grape must to the appealing citrus peels to the gin barrel aging.
Taste: Sweet-tasted, moderately chewy bready malts upon which builds and builds and builds the added elements from the must, citrus and the floral, fruity, herbal, additionally citrusy tones from the botanicals incorporated into the gin and its accompanying barrels. However, an odd thing occurs -- the flavors culminate, at least for me, into a taste of the gooey innards of a York Peppermint Patty, sans the sweet chocolate coating, of course. All in all, it's a very busy beer.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Get the Sensation!
