A: Pours a crystal clear medium copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and a hint of golden yellow highlights. The beer has a half finger tall foamy white head that reduces to a medium to large sized patch of thin film and a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Minimal amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of caramel malts with light aromas of light fruit yeast (peach and apple). Light aromas of earthy hops.
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of caramel, toasted, and grainy malts with just a hint of sweetness. That is followed by light to moderate flavors of light fruit (apple + peach) yeast. Light flavors of earthy and spicy hops in the finish which impart a light amount of bitterness which does not linger for too long.
M: Slightly heavier than light bodied with light to moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: A very easy drinking and approachable beer. A nice example of the English Bitter style and one that I have no problem having a couple in an afternoon. Very enjoyable.
