L - dark brown, 1 finger of head, and lots of lacing left all over the glass
S - hoppy, citrus notes, brown malts
T - slight citrus notes, not as hoppy as I Was hoping. More like a standard brown with some citrus notes
F - well carbonated, medium to light body
O - a good brown, but was hoping for a bigger hop kick

Appearance: A very dark brown appearance, clear with an ivory-hued head atop.
Smell: A conglomeration of burnt scents - burnt grain, burnt toast, burnt nuts with some bitterish chocolate and coffee and an underlying herbal hop tone.
Taste: Broiled breadcrusts, charred nuts with a splash of coffee. Not as much softening action from any chocolaty, caramelly elements as I had hoped for. Little sweetness. Flower stems, herbs with a moderate degree of bitterness had. Dry maltiness on the finish (and still a kinda burnt quality).
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: Not lovin' it.

Very dark and hop-forward, almost reminiscent of a Baltic Porter
