Appearance: Arrives with a clear amber color with a very modest cap; a few squiggles of lacing hang around
Smell: Very dank, with tropical fruit tones and piney bitterness
Taste: The dankness overwhelms, with papaya and tangerine underneath; the bitterness builds through the middle; limited malt tones underneath
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: A very nice IPA that is a nice addition to the Wicked Weed IPA portfolio

Had this for the first time a couple weeks ago and thought it was one of the best IPAs I'd ever had, possibly the best. Had it again today and, while still mindblowing, the bitterness is just a tad too assertive for it to truly be perfect. Still, I hope they continue to produce this beer because it's better than Pernicious, Freak, Tranny, etc. I wonder if they could produce this at their full-production facility and it still be just as delicious because this was made on the smaller system at the brewpub.

Clear gold with a small white head. Smells similar to other WW IPAs with its oily hop resins, sticky pine spice, and fresh, green dankness. Some papaya mixed with pine needles and grapefruit pulp. Taste is hoppy…oily and dank, fruity but not sweet. Grapefruit, tangerine, and a bit of fleshy tropical fruit blanket what little toasty pale malts manage to peek though. Somewhat aggressive presentation with a decent bitterness, medium bodied, and nicely dry. Not as fruity as expected, which is fine – fits right in with most of their other IPAs.
