Lack of reform is responsible for some of our most memorable brews. Featuring bright aromas or orange zest, round notes of chocolate, and juicy flavors or citrus hop notes, Incorangeible is a non-conformist’s IPA. Hold your ground and raise your glass to the unapologetic.

"Lack of reform is responsible for some of our most memorable brews. Featuring bright aromas of orange zest, round notes of chocolate, and juicy flavors of citrus hops, Incorangeible is a non-conformist's IPA. Hold your ground and raise your glass to the unapologetic." Brewed in the style of an American IPA with Orange Zest and Cacao Nibs added. Available in 16.9 oz. bottles and on limited draft.
Poured from a 16.9 oz. bottle to a tulip glass.
(Appearance) Pours a creamy foam head of a buttery off-white tone over a mildly hazy pale amber body with very fine sediment and aggressive carbonation. Retention is very good and lacing is light and patchy. 4.5
(Smell) Citrus hop notes make the brunt of the hop bouquet with a focus on sweet candied oranges and tangerines, and a modest bitterness. The orange zest additives are aromatically subtle, blending in smoothly with the rounded citrus hop profile, and the chocolate even more so delicate. The malt body otherwise seems an ordinary blend of pale, pilsner and crystal malts with a moderate sweetness. Potency is moderate/bold. 3.5
(Taste) The malt profile largely drives the flavor of this beer, with pale and cracker malts building a soft but textured malt base, while the hops generate adequate bitterness, the hop profile is noticeably milder than the malt profile. Interestingly, the cacao nibs are more evident in the flavor, creeping in near the finish as the short-lived hop bitterness and flavor rapidly fades out, bringing with it a rich earthiness which may be its most unusual contribution. Finishes modestly dry and clean with some soft orange resins, but not much orange bitterness from the hops nor orange zest. 3.5
(Mouthfeel) Texture is slick, moderately oily, lightly residual, softly chewy, moderately dry. Carbonation is medium, generating a moderate frothiness and a medium crisp finish. Body is medium+ for the style, medium overall. Balance is nearly even bitter to sweet to drying and specialty grains. Alcohol presence is mild and there are no off characters. 3.75
(Overall) It's kind of an interesting experiment of sorts, although I suggest that neither of the additives (Orange Zest nor Cacao Nibs) stood out strongly enough for me to justify featuring them so prominently on the label. Aside from the rebellious adjunct spin on this beer, it stands as a fairly balanced but ordinary IPA, with a respectable hop profile, a reserved but balancing bitterness, and a textured but not overly saccharine malt build. As reasonable of a price as Wicked Weed's 500ml. bottling formats go for, I'm not regretting sampling this, but not overly impressed, either. 3.75

500ml bottle - $4.49 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a hazed (though lightly) golden body with a stray, thinning, but lasting whitish head.
Smell: Scantly grainy, softly bready pale malts. Citrusy with a lean towards a orange quality and backed by some slight herb notes. The nibs, though present, are altogether minor, a mere background scent within the nose.
Taste: A lightly bready light pale maltiness infused with a few drops of golden syrup sweetness. Citrus minded hops adjoin to the subtle juicy, orangey, fruity element. Medium degree of bitterness. Like the orange, perhaps even moreso, the nibs are really toned down. Bitterish finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: I enjoyed it alright. Neither the orange nor the niblings really knock you over in terms of flavor, but serve instead to very lightly accentuate the flavors. So, if you're going in expecting a hopped liquid chocolate orange, you'll likely be left wanting.

Virtually no head when poured down the side, more aggressive near the end gave a thin layer of foam. Murky light golden color with med carbonation. Smell gave some hints of citrus orange but not much and some malt sweetness. Taste was malty sweetness, then strong orange or citrus rinds that lingered in the back. Overall just ok, I didn't get any of the cocoa and the bitterness was mostly at the back end, prob pass on this one next time.

Looking for hint of orange and cocao
Open bottle and pour with hint or orange scent. Pour to mixer, probably not best choice but I had a dirty snifter

A good IPA - nice and bitter but with other flavors. I do taste the Cacao Nibs - but it's more of an aftertaste. The hops just take over the front end. I didn't get much of the orange but that's OK. I would definitely love to see IPA brewers take on alternative flavor profiles such as this. Also, the smell of this beer is heavenly.

pours a very lightly cloudy golden straw with a medium head that poofs. nose; light and clean - citrus hops, orange sugar candy and light syrup. a lighter nose that hints at a low malt brew. taste; light caramel malt, bright orange & sugar, citrus hops, grapefruit sweets and a light dry cocoa. medium carbonation and mouthfeel. malts are easy here and let the juicy orange, hops and fruit sweet notes do the work. the cocoa is very light. solid ipa.
