On tap at WW
Pours a hazy golden orange with a one finger foamy white head that reduces to a ring. Smells of light watermelon, lemon, light phenols and peppery yeast. Taste is slightly peppery yeast up front, followed by a wave of soft watermelon juice. Clove and peppery yeast on the finish. Light-medium body, medium carbonation, foamy mouthfeel and a crisp finish

Poured from the can into a tulip glass.
Frothy big and rich foaming controlled head. Like a big scoop of bubblebath, it rocks and hangs on forever like a giant fist, bright white and large. Roaring middle column of carbonation through a slightly hazy yellow and burnt brown body. Great aggressive looking brew.
Dew and mellon hit the nose very nicely. A touch of bitter rind and spicy phenolic action as well for an aroma. Slightly muted after a bit with the aromas getting a tad buried after awhile. Mild sensing aromas of earth and grass just slightly.
Palate definitely goes for watermelon, and also following wet body. Watery melon character but definitely bringing some nice juicy sweetness. Muted earth and hints of bitter spice as well, green drying herbs, almost sweet basil like tasting. Finishes a little watery and fleeting, and misses a bit of saison malt funk and depth.
A neat watermelon beer, but seems to sacrifice the base style to get there.
