Dark Age Stout aged in bourbon barrels for 9 months with coffee, cinnamon, Chipotle peppers, chocolate & vanilla. On cask at the 2017 ACAF.
Near black and opaque but with lively ruby colored edges
Very appealing, rich and complex nose and flavor.
Good balance. Slightly boozy. Medium-full body with light a bit more vanilla than ideal given the fine dark fruit, toffee and other flavors.
