a fairly priced bottle of delicious ipa, i am glad i got to try this one. clear and golden and frothy, it looks bright and pretty. its super fresh in the nose, honey and grass, meyer lemon and tangerine, even a light dill note to me, not overly herbaceous but a cool nuance. there is a little sweetness to the grain for how pale it is, perhaps a necessity to get it this strong, but it sure doesnt drink as heavy or boozy as i expected it to, like a session double ipa or something, i cant set my glass down. a floral character to the hops in taste, like a noble thing on steroids, but combined with some relatively juicy dry hops. pineapple and orange notes, moderate bitterness, drier at the end, and highly drinkable for what it is. after a ton of sour and wild beer, as well as some dusty old belgians, this really hit the mark for me. one of the better hoppy beers i had on my recent trip to asheville to be honest. fresh and clean, well carbonated, light bodied, great hop profile, very well done overall! i wish i bought more.

Came in a stemmed glass a hazed tropical punch color with a large fluffy white head that settled very slowly into a frothy mass, love the menacing look and the well defined head.Bright tropical/citric aromas with a tinge of sweet onion wich is bigger on the palate.Fresh cut sweet onions and tropical fruits on the palate, sugary sweet in the finish. It's bright and easy drinking but the sugary sweetness and onion flavors are big if you can handle them.
