Enjoyed a pint while having lunch with Da Boss at Brooks Tavern in Hendersonville 3-25-24 for $6.50. This was a solid German Pils from the pale color to the crackery malt base to the white pepper hopped finished. Well balanced and slammable.

This is a pilsner with 5.1% ABV and it is brewed with the purest Blue Ridge Mountain water. It is combined with German yeast, Noble hops, and traditional pilsner malts. I poured this into a pub style pint glass.
Look-It pours a golden yellow with a rich foamy head that’s white as snow. The lacing is pearly and drooping.
Smell-It smells of honey and earthy/grassy hops. I get bready biscuit and German malts. It smells almost like an Oktoberfest or at least a fest bier. I also smell a grainy malt characteristic that smells really good.
Taste-I taste bready and herbal hops along with German malts and some honeysuckle. A mild sweetness along with grassy hops give way to a slightly bitter minerality. I can taste the quality of the beer given by the pure natural spring water of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I get a grainy sweetness and a hint of lemon along with an herbal flavor that reminds me of fresh clove growing on a mountainside after the first Spring melt. It has a light-bodied mouthfeel and is delicately balanced. The only lingering components I am picking up are the honeysuckle and German malts as well as a lemony zest. A mild buttery oil residue lingers on the tongue as well.
Overall-Water quality used to brew is very important and often not talked about. I can definitely taste a crisp and clean beer quality that shines through due to the pure mountain water used. Overall this is a crisp and refreshing beer that has a sort of clean mouth rinse effect after each sip. Very tasty. You should definitely try this and serve it chilled.

On-tap at Wicked Weed Brewing, Charlotte Airport, Charlotte, NC
A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a slight amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high frothy white head that died down but consistently left a short head covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of grassy hops are present in the nose.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste is very grassy and has underlying hints of grainy malts. There is a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied, clean, and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of visible carbonation.
O: I really enjoyed the grassiness in the smell and taste of this pilsener.

Pours a lovely golden color with a two finger white head. Smell is biscuity with a hint of lemon. First taste gives me the pilsner biscuit flavor and a light bitterness/crispness that comes together for an enjoyable 12 ounces.

I bought a couple of six packs this summer and for my taste, they have the flavor profile spot on. Golden color with decent one inch head, grainy aroma with some hops, Flavor has an excellent balance between biscuity malt and earthy hops. Brisk and mild bitterness on finish that calls for another sips. Refreshing yet substantial.

Pours a pale yellow color with moderate head that fades relatively slowly. Malt dominates the smell and taste, with some slight bitterness. Medium bodied and frothy mouthfeel. Some dryness coming through in the aftertaste. Well balanced and very good brew. I like it, just don't love it
