Very good head production, and outstanding retention. Nice lacing as well.
There's a bit of chocolate on the nose, growing as it warms, but it's also got a clean, bright bitterness, which could easily be mistaken for hops if one were unaware of the added terpenes. In addition to chocolate, notes include grape, orange, cola, prune, and bright pine.
Similar on the palate, with a bright sharpness much more in line with dry stouts than with dessert stouts. Cola flavors dominate up front, yielding to dry chocolate. The back half is dominated by oily help-like notes. You might expect a dessert stout with a name like Brownie, but it really is not; it's semi-dry, medium bodied, and more bitter than sweet.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a black color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of roasted malts, hemp, light chocolate. Taste is dominated by hemp, light roasted malts and alcohol, really no brownie to speak of. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a mediocre beer.

Part of the Guilty Pleasures pack picked up at TW-Greenville, SC 10-30-21 for $14.99. Packaged 8-24-21; drink by 8-24-22. Consumed 2-18-22.
Beer poured black with a really nice tan head that is leaving some lacing behind.
Nose is a mild roast malts with some hints of chocolate.
Taste is a good-sized dark malt base infused with a light touch of chocolate. Finishes with enough hops to balance out each sip.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and pretty smooth.
Overall a pretty good dessert beer.

Appearance:
Constructs a tremendous tower of beige foam over a sea of blackness. The tower erodes to half its height in minutes, leaving lengthy striations of lace.
Bouquet:
Fresh brownies packed with rustic hemp and bitter, black malts.
Feel:
Smooth and sumptuous, with low carbonation that adds a mild, grainy to the texture you might find in moist, cakey soil.
Taste:
Deeply earthy dark chocolate wrapped in soft black bread and given a scant sprinkle of mosaic hop shavings.
Overall:
Despite how hoppy and hemp-suffused the aroma is, the palate isn’t the least bit bitter. Just a touch of chocolatey sweetness balanced by grains and hops.

Very enjoyable stout. I may be rating it higher than most because I do enjoy the hemp flavor mixed with chocolate!
