On tap at the Funkatorium. Poured a dark, brown color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sheets of lace. It smelled of roasted malt, coffee and caramel. Great roasty taste with coffee, sweet chocolate and toffee.

Pours a clear amber color with a slight head and lacing

Had on tap. Pours dark brown with a tan head with decent retention, lazy lacing bands make themselves know as you go. Aromas of bready german yeast, dark malts, and big toast. Taste adds touches of sweet dark fruit liqueur, general dark bread, and toasted caramel to what the nose already brought, sneaky complex as it warms, nothing is too potent except the toast though. Feel is smooth, lighter bodied, but yeast is not as expressive as expected giving malts all the control.
