This traditional lager is authentically brewed with imported malts that offer a pillowy grain character balanced with bright and floral Mittelfrüh hops. Thank you for choosing to celebrate Oktoberfest with Wicked Weed Brewing. Prost

I poured this American attempt at a festbier, revealing a hazy golden hue with a sustained, foamy head. I prefer my festbiers filtered.
The aroma was very fresh and prominent with hints of lemony citrus; while very attractive, it is not what one expects for the style.
This is most likely the most quaffable festbier I have encountered. It tastes more like a well-rounded helles with strong lemon flavors and a hint of vanilla. Style-wise, this one is a miss, but the flavor profile is excellent. For a brewery largely known for hoppy IPAs, this is a nice change.

Poured from a can into a tulip glass.
Look: Medium yellow-orange with a medium white head. Good lacing.
Smell: Malty. Cracker. Maybe a little citrus. A bit of sweetness.
Taste: Malty with a touch of bitterness, but finishes sweet. Citrus, not unlike orange juice. Very mellow and easy to drink, but perhaps could have used a touch more hops.
Feel: Medium mouthfeel and ok carbonation.
Overall: Crushable.

The pour is saffron colored with a light amount of carbonation. The taste is toasted grains, caramel, & honey biscuits. Cheers! B-

12oz can 29 Aug 25. This festbier delights with a full foam head that sticks around longer than a verse of Ein Prosit. Sweetness and caramel hit before hops playing backup to this well-made märzen. Pleasant closing that makes me yearn for an encore. Look forward to the next number, round, or refrain. Bravo!

Appearance: Pours a deep gold body, fairly clear with a medium-sized, white head.
Smell: Mildly bready maltiness, a little hint of dough, a little hint of earthy spice.
Taste: Bready, very faintly toasty, very lightly doughy with a medium degree of initial malty sweetness. Some herbal, spicy accents to the hops. Light, low bitterness to balance. Fairly clean finish with just a little final blip of spice.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation with a pop-like zip about it.
Overall: Less characterful than some though still decent and easily drinkable.

Draft pour at the Funkatorium served cold in a mug 5.6% ABV. The beer is bright medium amber with nearly white head. The head recedes to a thin cap and leaves a little lacing. Aroma is mild with clean pils malt. Taste is more of the same, clean pils malt, a hint of toasted malt and nuttiness with herbal hop flavor and mild bitterness. Clean and average carbonation. Overall, tasty and sippable fest beer.
