Raspberry and cocoa nibs in a saison sound odd but they really make this work.

Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a surprisingly dark color, almost fudge brown, with a buoyant tan head; plenty of lacing hangs around for the devotee
Smell: Clearly the beer's best attribute, it smells like a basket full of freshly picked raspberries dusted with chocolate shavings
Taste: Well, I guess it can be said that the taste is very much like the aroma, with plenty of raspberry fruit flavor; the chocolate is hard to find, though, and there is a brown bread character that underpins the fruit
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: When I heard this was a Saison, I was expecting something very different as this is more a fruit beer than anything else; it lakes the yeasty complexity I was expecting, though the fruit profile is quite enjoyable
