Tap at Wicked Weed. Near black pour, layer of tan head.
Aroma, some light roast and dark chocolate. Some oaky booze.
Taste, The barrel is prominent with oak, vanilla and some booze. Some roast malt, caramel and chocolate. Dry cocoa. Abv is still pretty well hidden though. Some oaky dark chocolate lingers a while.
If there is an issue it is the same with all the brews I had here, they are just a tad on the thin side. Still smooth carbonation, medium body that coats ok. Drinks very easy for a slightly higher abv.
On the cusp of something real nice. Not bad for a 6 month old place.
