A: Pours a crystal clear medium golden yellow in color with moderate to heavy amounts of visible carbonation streaming from the bottom of the glass and some hints of apricot highlights. The beer has a finger tall sudsy foamy white head that slowly reduces to a large patch of very thin film in the center of the glass with a medium thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate to strong aromas of citrus/grapefruit and tropical/pineapple hops with a light amount of floral hops and caramel malts.
T: Upfront there is a light to moderate flavor of caramel malts with a touch of sweetness that is followed by the much stronger flavors of the hops - citrus/grapefruit and tropical/pineapple really stand out with some hints of floral hops. Light amounts of bitterness that fades after a short amount of time.
M: On the lighter side of medium bodied with moderate to heavy amounts of carbonation. Smooth and slightly crisp.
O: This is a really great tasting and easy drinking American IPA - tastes like a DIPA but does not pack as much alcohol. I think this is a great beer and is almost sessionable (just a hint too strong but I can accept that). Definitely recommend and it holds up great in a growler.

Two finger frothy white head on a brilliant golden perfectly clear body. Aroma of tart citrus, mostly orange and grapefruit, with some candied sugar, pale malts and slight bubble gum note. Flavor is more hoppy than malty, with pine resin, tart orange and lemon citrus, with floral, grassy hops on a pale malt base. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A beer can't really look better than this one does and when enjoyed on-tap, this beer is as close to Pliney The Elder as you can possibly get, especially on the east coast.
