Served on-tap at Wicked Weed Brewing in Asheville, NC
A: Pours a hazy medium straw yellow in color with light amounts of visible carbonation and some lemon yellow + apricot highlights. The beer has a quarter finger tall white head that reduces to a large patch of very thin film and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light aromas of watermelon with a light hint of sweetness along with some lighter aromas of peppery saison yeast.
T: Overall a very light flavor with hints of pale malts plus slightly heavier than light amounts of natural watermelon flavor without a lot of the sweetness. Light hints of peppery saison yeast.
M: Light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly dry in the finish.
O: Additionally from an appearance perspective it is served with a small piece of watermelon as a garnish. Very refreshing and easy to drink, a great summer offering and I love that it has a real natural watermelon flavor sweetness.
