A: Pours a dark but clear rich amber in color with moderate to heavy amounts of very active visible carbonation streaming from the bottom of the glass and some burnt orange + ruby red + brown highlights. The beer has a finger tall creamy light beige head (of very very fine bubbles) that very slowly reduces to a very thick film covering the entire surface of the beer evenly with a slightly thicker ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of spicy and herbal hops over the top of a lighter aroma of toasted and caramel malts.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of toasted malts and light flavors of caramel malts with little associated sweetness. That is followed by light to moderate flavors of spicy and herbal hops which impart a light to moderate amount of bitterness which fades relatively quickly.
M: Slightly less than medium bodied with light to moderate amounts of carbonation. Slightly creamy.
O: Very easy to drink and enjoyable, bordering on being a session beer in my opinion. Interesting enough with the hop profile to keep me coming back for more.
