This beer is big, hoppy and balanced with notes of pine, citrus and pineapple lingering together from the Amarillo, Citra, Simcoe and Centennial hop bill. While it's a hop-bomb for sure, it's still a smooth drinker with a lingering sweetness that’s neither cloying nor overpowering.

Taster at Thorn Brewery Mission Hills new location. A triple IPA that in one blind tasting was ranked number one in San Diego (and apparently ahead of Pliny the Younger). (Hamilton’s Tavern Triple IPA Throwdown).
Taproom only beer.
A near clear bright golden pour with limited white head.
Aroma is bright citrus, tangerine, sweet malt, and a dose of piney resinous hop.
Taste is a really nice tropical fruit but tempered by a crisp pine resin, hop bitterness nicely balancing the sweetness - notes of tangerine - orange.
Smooth, full and unabashedly boozy mouthfeel without being fusel - leaving a warming lingering bitterness. Wonderful beer.
