Meet Paxton the pug. Paxton is Taylor Allen’s (Thorn Director of Sales) dog and the official mascot of Allen Town, USA. Thanks to this collaboration brew with our friends at Claremont Craft Ales, we are stoked to finally give an official flavor to Allen Town. With Taylor and CCA both being from Southern California, we felt it most appropriate to make a West Coast IIPA. So welcome to Allen Town; SoCal Brewed and Paxton approved.

Robust golden yellow body; thick, active carbonation; dense and creamy head, white and sticky. Classic yet low-key dank and resinous aroma. Classic west coast flavor; malty with a bold yet not overly intense hop bitterness; the alcohol presence is somewhat subdued but has moments of beautiful intensity. Medium-heavy body; smooth; some dryness but leaning towards a slightly sweet mouthfeel overall.

This imperial IPA is balanced and nuanced, bringing some subtle complexity to the palate. The ABV is nicely hidden. What we have here is a no-frills thrill...
