Clear amber brew with abundant foam in the Orval chalice. Bold aroma with mango and orange peel. Intense fruity flavor of orange marmalade with apricot nectar. More citrus peel to finish. Definitely sweet, but a lively acidity tones it down a little. Bitter aftertaste.
Overall this is kind of hot and sugary, what I call a hop liqueur. Quite sippable, though with clean flavors. Massive hop intensity for the enthusiast. This one I found on a trip to Portland, of all places. From the 16 oz can dated 07/02/21.
